Jaimie Novick
As a designer, a strong goal of mine is to combine art and fashion to push what fashion can be. Sustainability is a strong part of my values and I have therefore faced a personal struggle with finding the answer for why we need more clothes with the need and desire for a creative outlet.
My solution to this is to always try make things that are truly new and different otherwise I don’t see a point. I want to make timeless pieces that are not simply worn and forgotten but artworks that are valued over time. I aim to shift away from beige views of sustainable fashion and utilise new approaches to create clothing that has a timeless purpose.
